President

The role of the SNoG President is to lead the Executive Committee and be the public face of the organisation. The President is responsible for all activities of SNoG, including chairing the Executive Committee, leading strategic discussion, forward planning and high-level decision making. The President is also expected to liaise with SNoG’s sponsors, corporate organisations and graduate teams at departments.
Vice-President
The Vice-President assists the President in the performance of their duties, and assists with tasks that are delegated to them by the President.
Treasurer
The Treasurer of SNoG is responsible for the financial resources of the organisation including bank accounts, the monitoring of cash flow, the administration of memberships, advice to the Executive Committee on available financial resources and likely costs of current and forthcoming events, and the production of financial statements in the mid-year and annual reports. The Treasurer is a highly influential role but requires candidates of the highest ethical standards. Accounting experience is helpful, but not a requirement.
Vice-Treasurer
The Vice-Treasurer assists the Treasurer in the performance of their duties, and assists with tasks that are delegated to them by the Treasurer or the President.
Secretary
The Secretary of SNoG is responsible for organising the Executive Committee, including the formulation and communication of the agenda, minutes and tracking outstanding items that require further action. The person in this influential role often guides discussion of the Executive Committee. The Secretary also has additional responsibilities regarding the SNoG Annual General Meeting, including preparation of the Annual Report.

The Vice-Secretary assists the Secretary in the performance of their duties, and assists with tasks that are delegated to them by the Secretary or the President.
CSR Manager
The Corporate Social Responsibility Manager of SNoG is responsible for organising or promoting SNoG Member participation in charitable events throughout the year. The CSR Manager is expected to liaise and co-ordinate with charitable organisations in Canberra, and to promote a professional image of graduates to the wider community.
Website Manager
The Website Manager of SNoG is responsible for marketing and communicating upcoming SNoG events and the upkeep of the SNoG website. The Website Manager is able to influence the Executive Committee and is often used to assist Chairs or others manage events on the day.  
Ball Chair
The Ball Committee of SNoG is responsible for organising the annual SNoG Ball - a signature event of Canberra’s social scene. As the Chair, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team of people to plan, budget, organise, and run the Ball. You will liaise with and influence the Executive Committee on funding and timing of your event, and provide the memorable capstone for your graduate year.
Ski Chair
The Ski Committee of SNoG is responsible for organising the SNoG Ski Trip – another signature event. As the Chair, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team of people to plan, budget, organise, and run a weekend away in the snow. You will liaise with and influence the Executive Committee on funding and timing of the ski trip.
Social Chair
The Social and Nightlife Committee of SNoG is responsible for organising social events, gatherings and parties throughout the year. As the Chair, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team of people to plan, budget, organise, and run social events throughout the year. You will liaise with and influence the Executive Committee on funding and timing of your events and greatly contribute to networking and the social experience of SNoG Members.

Trivia Chair
The Trivia Committee of SNoG is responsible for organising various Trivia Nights throughout the year. SNoG Trivia events can attract huge numbers of people. As the Chair, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a team of people to plan, budget, organise, develop questions, create quirky challenges, judge and run a number of events throughout the year. You will liaise with and influence the Executive Committee on funding and timing of trivia nights.
Sports & Recreation Chair
The Sports & Recreation Committee of SNoG is responsible for organising and encouraging participation in sporting events throughout Canberra over the year. As the Chair, you will be responsible for establishing and leading a small team of people to plan, budget, organise, and run, swim, or cycle for sporting events throughout the year. You will liaise with and influence the Executive Committee on funding and timing of your events and contribute to the physical fitness and wellbeing of SNoG Members.
Chair of Departmental Representatives

The Chair of Dep Reps is the voice of SNoG. In conjunction with the Website Manager, the Chair of Dep Reps is responsible for communicating promotional material to SNoG members. This position involves forwarding promotional material by email to a designated SNoG Member in departments or corporations who has volunteered to be the primary contact point for SNoG (the departmental representative), and the Chair is often a contact point and conduit for questions and queries by Members to the SNoG Executive. The Chair of Dep Reps is not an Executive Committee position, but we do seek the interest of Members for this people-oriented role.
