Have you bought your 2008 SNoG Ball to end all Balls ticket yet?
I know, I know – you’ve been busy. Your friends have been non-committal – saying they’re keen but not putting their money where their mouths are. Well get cracking, SNoGgers and SNoG sympathisers – you only have 17 days left to get your 2008 SNoG Ball ticket! That’s right – ticket sales close on Friday 17 October 2008! We cannot stress enough that this is not one of those SNoG events that you can sashay up to on the night and buy a ticket. It’s a ball, dude! A ball to end all balls! And it will be awesome.
TABLE FORMS
Table forms will be emailed to ticket holders by this Thursday 2 October 2008 for you to complete and return by email to snogball@gmail.com by no later than Thursday 23 October 2008. The form will also be available for download from the downloads page of the website here. You can submit tables of 10 people or ‘half-tables’ of five people – which will be randomly paired with another ‘half-table’ on the night – a great way to meet at least five new friends! THIS IS IMPORTANT: Only people who have purchased tickets can be listed on a table form – so make sure your friends have their tickets so you can get in quick with your table form! Tables will be allocated on a ‘first-in first-served’ basis with the ‘primo real estate’ tables allocated first. So avoid ending up too far from the dance floor/uncomfortably close to the toilets and get your table form in ASAP! Please contact Fiona Tinning if you would like to register as an individual or pair as we are looking at putting together a couple of ‘networking’ tables of individuals/pairs for those savvy networkers among you! Plus, it’s always fun to get boozy with people you’ve never met before.
TICKET DISTRIBUTION
Due to a delay with the printers, all tickets will be distributed through your Dep Reps (or to the postal address nominated in your post-purchase email to the snogball@gmail.com account) during the week starting Monday 27 October 2008. Your Dep Rep will email you when they receive your tickets so you guys can arrange a pick-up time. We will email individuals who have nominated a non-work post address when we post your ticket/s so you can keep an eye on your letterbox for that hopeful raised red flag…if your letterbox is fitted with such a device.

The 2008 Annual SNoG Ball to End all Balls will be held on Saturday 8 November 2008 at the National Convention Centre. The theme is Hollywood Glamour so get ready for a night of glitz, glamour and – let’s be realistic – probably one or two Paris Hilton moments. With up to 700 attendees, it will be the biggest SNoG Ball our nation’s capital has seen! Make sure you’re there so you can tell the grandchildren about it…
Standard tickets ($87.50 for SNoG members and $102.50 for non-members including an online booking fee) are on sale NOW until Friday 17 October 2008 from the SNoG website (www.snog.net.au) through PayPal.
Your ticket includes:
- Pre-ball drinks in the National Convention Centre foyer;
- A delicious two course meal and late night canapés (to put you in good stead for a massive night);
- Continuous champagne, wine, beer and soft drink;
- Live band entertainment from Big Boss Groove;
- A special performance by the SNoG Salsa Dancers;
- Entry into the EXCLUSIVE SNoG Ball after party at the Holy Grail in Civic…
